Wood spreading knife

This wood spreading knife is great for soft cheeses, butter, jams, and especially avocado. After slicing an avocado in half, they allow you to easily slice and scrape the avocado from the skin without slicing through the skin. I find it is one of the most used tools in my kitchen. These spreaders make a very attractive serving tool for your dinner parties or a lovely hostess gift. Measures approximately 7in. long.

This piece has a sapele blade with a maple handle. Each piece is finely sanded then oiled with an all natural food safe oil. All the woods I use are salvaged scrap from local cabinet and furniture makers.


To maintain, hand wash and towel dry. Never put in a dishwasher or leave soaking. Oil regularly with a food safe oil, such as coconut oil or mineral oil to keep the wood from drying out.
